Despite the item description this will not work with iPhone 1st generation. You have to have a very certain old firmware for it to work, I guess. And if you have maintained your iPhone with regular updates the firmware is too new a version for this device. Boo that I did not have that information before I purchased it but the seller did give me a refund.
