the product size matches original oem size, which makes it work with the original apple case. the cover on the usb end of the cable came loose and slid back off the usb connector. I just glued it in place with some Goop.

I purchased this USB hotsync to replaced the original cable that came with my iPod. It works great and I like the fact that it came in black.

The cable works fine as a data cable but only will charge my iphone 3GS about 1 in 10 times. Not sure why, but if you need reliable charging from a cable, look for something else.

it is VERY obvious why this so inexpensive. It doesnt work at all, no syncing or charging on my 3GS. i bought this cable solely for the little clips that hold the cable in the connector port as it shows in the picture, but the cable i received looks exactly like the cable that came with the iPhone, the little one without clips but black. i was going to use it to make a hand strap for my iPhone. ([...]) i am very disappointed with this, it is completely useless. total waste of money and time.
