This horizontal flip is not designed well to accomplish it's primary purpose - to protect the iPad. Even when fully closed, there is no restraint to keep the iPad from sliding out. While walking with the case closed, my iPad slid right out, crashing to the floor. It appears that they took the vertical flip and created a horizontal version (which I would prefer) without a redesign.

I ordered the case in red and I love it. The quality of the product is very high. Good color, well stitched, magnetic catch for closure that really works. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the iPad could theoretically slip out of the top opening. It hasn't happened to me but I plan to rig up a little something to make it feel just a little more secure. This is not a big problem and I would not allow it to hold you you back from buying this great case. I have seen a lot of cases for the iPad that will probably work as well - but none that work this well AND look so good too!

I`ve had mine for a few weeks now and think it is well worth the money. I haven`t had any problems with my Ipad slipping out of the case, as a matter of fact I always take my Ipad out of the case to charge it and it does not slide out easy. I would buy this case again in a second.

Love the quality and price of this but, the top of the case is not secure and my 500$ iPad can fall out. Will try to exchange for a more secure case.
