 Good, inexpensive IPad case/sleeve September 5, 2010

I've been using this for a few months and I'm very pleased. The main reason I got it is to compensate for a big flaw in the IPad case design (pretty but too slippery to be held with one hand) and it did a good job. The fit is good, it's easy to put on/take off and it should offer a bit of protection too.

I was looking for a cover that fit nice snug for maximum protection and asthetic appeal. This particular cover does not fit snug, it is very loose where it touches the front of the device. I would search around for a better fit.

The "skin" fits very well, but the iPad will not fit in my cover w/the pad on. So I have to choose skin or cover - the cover wins out - I like being able to open and close it like a book. It is great if you don't want a cover. I have a Kindle 2 and I have a skin on it and it fits in the cover easily.

I use this cover when I am just using the iPad around the house. The silicone keeps the iPad from sliding off a table and it isn't as bulky as my other cover that I use when I am traveling with the iPad (a bookcover type that protects the screen from impact). The only slightly annoying thing I have found is that the silicone gel attracts and holds on to gritty particles, yarn fibers and dog hairs, so if you have pets, choose your color based on what color your pet's hair is if you want the pet hair to be less visible.
