My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of this case. Both our ipods are well protected and the case looks much more expensive than it actually is. The leather is soft with padding in the back and cover, with only a slight leather smell...very pleasant. Ipod controls are all accessible in the snug fitting case and it fits perfectly into our isound twin charging station. All in all, a two thumbs up for this case.

The first review that I read was very negative and said that the smell was so horrible that it filled the room. The other two reviews convinced me to buy it. When I opened the product at first there was a leather smell but now that I've been using it I don't smell it as strongly. I am thrilled with this product, its great and protects my Itouch. It even comes with a strap to carry it and a screen protector (which wasn't advertised)! When I bought the item, it was .84 cents and 2.00+ shipping. For the price of the product, I am absolutely amazed.

Ok, this product as i was ordering it was a 50, 50 thing. There was 1 good review and one bad review. When i received the product, it was amazing. The quality was great and the case fit my Itouch very well. The reason i rated Smell for this product is because the review here titled "Disappointed". This buyer literally "had to leave the room" because of its strong smell. And i say this without exaggeration when i say, You'd literally have to have a Blood Hound's nose to think the leather from this was that strong. The smell was even delightful as i unwrapped it from its package. Everything was great, and the magnets don';t seem to be interfering with my ipod. I have had it for 4 days now and it hasn't crashed. Overall, I give this product an A+, and I hope that if you're looking for a leather case, this one will be your pick. I will definitely buy from this seller again when i see something I like.

Good delivery time, and terrific Ipod case, with flip-action closure, with a wrist strap to carry it. Highly recommend!

To begin with, the item has a good quality - strong leather, good stitching, slick and tasteful appearance - all of the reasons that made me buy it in the first place. However, when I finally got it, I was disappointed.
First of all, it had a very strong and overwhelming smell of leather - I even took it out of my bedroom because I could not breathe with it in the room. Second of all, I was disappointed with a magnetic hold - in the previous one I had, there were small magnets right bellow the leather surface and close to one another. In this one there was one strong magnet inside the flop and another AT THE BACK of the case completely behind the iPod. In other words, the magnetic hold had to go through your iPod to hold together. Because of this, the hold was very weak and, to be honest, I wouldn't want a strong magnet sending waves through a sensitive flash drive inside the iPod (they say magnets don't affect iPods but I didn't really want to find out the opposite the hard way).
The case is too tight and it takes some effort to put the iPod in or take it out of the case (sure, it would stretch with time, but how long do I have to wait). On top of all, the flaw in design kept pressing on the on/off button making me turn it off again or cancel the switch off. The case came with a complementary screen protector - I guess that's one more positive thing I can mention so far; however,I haven't opened the protector yet.
