I liked it, it kept my ipod and headphones together all the time. MY cousin (she was two and i was holding her) one time threw my ipod on the concrete one day...not a scratch. If you do buy this product i would recommend that you buy a screen protector along with it.

The built in headphone holder in the back is very convenient. The silicone material makes adding and removing the cover very easy. The case is built for a 1st Generation iPod touch, so using it for the 2nd Generation has a few minor flaws. The lock button on the top does not line up perfectly, and there is not an opening for the volume buttons on the left side. But, the buttons are still accessible and the iPod still fits snug in the case so it has not bothered me much. The case does not block the speakers at all in the bottom.

For the price its worth it. I am only going to use this on trips or flights just because its kind of bulky but the headphone storage is awesome. I have a 2nd gen and it fits ok. I can tell its not made for it but it fits pretty snug. As for the other people who ruined their headphones, yes there is no way for the air to escape the headphone storage but if you put them in slowly and at an angle your headphones will last. The sound from my Ipod 2nd gen internal speaker is muffled with this cover on and thats the only negative thing about it. If you have a 1st gen which is what this is made for it will be a great product but for 2nd gen owners it is worth the price but isnt really practical since it doesnt fit like its suppose to and it muffles the internal speaker. Great if you use the head phones though...under $3...just order one and see for yourself

It is exactly what we ordered. It fits our 16 gig itouch a little loosely, but my teenaged son loves it and we had to search for this particular style. It is a better design than the newer model in stores now.

I really like this product. I love that the back of it has a cord keeper so that my earphones aren't all tangled and I like the grip that the sides of the jacket provide. I also like that all the primary plugin outlets are left open so that I can leave it in the case when syncing with my laptop or putting on earphones. I haven't had any problems accessing the internet with the jacket on nor has there been any problems with viewing the screening or using touch controls. The only problem is that the jacket covers the external volume controls so you have to figure out where they are or use the touch screen to control the volume. I think it's a great product and works great with my Ipod touch 3rd generation.
In terms of reviewers who had problems with bubbles when applying the screen protectors, just use a credit card over the protector as you are slowly applying it.
